2019–2024 | A precursor to Convergence

Cities aren’t separate from nature—they are nature. Beneath the pavement, systems, and social rules, something wilder persists. The Urban Jungle traces the presence of animals as they move through the city with instinct, elegance, and moments of quiet absurdity.

At first glance, the series appears to follow creatures adapting to urban life. But the deeper you look, the more the lines begin to shift. The city becomes a stage for unexpected behavior, flickering symbols, and strange convergences—where meaning feels both familiar and elusive.

Shot over five years, The Urban Jungle marked a turning point in my work—a pull toward ambiguity, surrealism, and the unseen forces that move through public space.
