Salt Point State Park, California

These honeycomb-like formations are called tafoni (Italian for caves) and are caused by salt weathering and a recurrence of wetting and drying over a long period of time.

These basalt columns were formed 50-60 million years ago, and is essentially, dried lava.

Warwariki Beach, New Zealand

This is the most beautiful beach I've ever been to.  Located on the northern-most tip of the south island, this beach is *wild*.  It was windy as all get out every time I went.  The hike to the beach is spectacular, with rolling green hills and sand dunes.
